Huddersfield Giants v York Knights
This will be only the second time these two sides have faced off at Super League level. The first time round it was the Giants who came out on top in Round 7, defeating the Knights by 20 points.
On Saturday, Huddersfield could take confidence from the fact that they are the most successful team ever at Magic WKND!
Where Predictor is concerned, however, there’s nothing to separate the two!
Weighted Predictions: Giants (5 points), Knights (5 points)
Hull KR v Hull FC
Hull KR have won each of their last six Super League games against Hull FC by 14+ points, their longest ever streak against them in the competition, however, they have lost each of their last four WKND Weekend fixtures against them.
The Robins have won nine of their last 11 Super League matches) and also defeated Salford Red Devils 54-0 at St James’ Park last year, the joint-second largest win by any side in a Magic WKND fixture (Widnes Vikings 68-4 v Warrington Wolves in 2012).
The reigning champions are in red hot form and are heavy favourites ahead of this derby clash…
Weighted Predictions Robins (3 points), Hull FC (7 points)
Leigh Leopards v Warrington Wolves
This will be the first time these two have collided at Magic WKND.
The Wolves defeated the Leopards by 36 points during their Round 7 clash earlier this season (42-6), their largest Super League victory against them since July 2017 (50-10), however they had lost four in a row to them prior.
Given how their season’s have panned out so far, it’s the second-placed Wolves who are slightly more favourites to come away from Liverpool with the two points.
Leigh have won seven out of their last nine matches though…
Weighted Predictions: Leopards (6 points), Wolves (4 points)
Toulouse Olympique v Catalans Dragons
Magic WKND heads across the channel for the first time as the two French Super League sides lock horns at the Stade Pierre-Fabres. It will be the first time a Super League match has been held in Castres!
Predictor is in heavy favour of the Dragons, as they have won all three of their previous meetings in the Super League.
Weighted Predictions: Dragons (3 points), Toulouse (7 points)
Wakefield Trinity v Castleford Tigers
A West Yorkshire Derby kicks off Sunday’s action at Magic WKND!
It’s Trinity who head to the Hill Dickinson Stadium looking to recreate last year’s memorable Magic WKND win over the Tigers.
Wakefield have won 11 of their first 16 matches in Super League - their most ever victories at this stage of the season.
But anything can happen when playing your local rivals!
Weighted Predictions Trinity (4 points), Tigers (6 points)
Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls
The Bulls return to Magic WKND for the first time in over a decade, but could Kurt Haggerty’s men possibly cause an upset and defeat the table topping Rhinos?
History suggests otherwise. Bradford have never beaten their local rivals at a Magic WKND, but as the famous saying goes - there’s a first time for everything!
That said, a rampant Rhinos outfit will be hard to stop. Expect fireworks as the Leeds-Bradford Derby makes it highly anticipated comeback on the Magic stage!
Weighted Predictions: Rhinos (2 points), Bulls (8 points)
Wigan Warriors v St Helens
A colossal clash brings down the curtain on the 2026 Magic WKND!
Wigan Warriors have won four of their last five Super League games against old rivals St Helens, although did endure a dramatic defeat in April’s Rivals Round fixture!
Matt Peet’s side have enjoyed an unbeaten June, but Paul Rowley’s men have also built momentum over the last few weeks, and as we famously know - you can never write off the Saints!
Who are you backing in Game 7?
Weighted Predictions: Warriors (5 points), Saints (5 points)
